Frequently asked questions
Do we need special tablets or software installed at workstations?
No. MaxProd Win runs in the browser — any tablet with Chrome, Edge or Safari connected to the plant network will do. Office computers need nothing installed either.
Where is our data kept?
The system is installed on a server in your plant or on hosting you choose — production data stays with you, in a Microsoft SQL Server database. Access is login-only, with role-based permissions.
We have our own time standards. Can they be migrated?
Yes — the standards catalogue (stages, operations, minute standards) is edited by your administrator. Changing a standard applies from that moment on and never distorts historical reports.
Can orders be imported from our order system?
Yes — orders can be imported from a CSV export with a full matching preview before anything is committed. Direct integration is available as part of deployment.
